Who the Heck Is Lexi?

For me, a passion for travel is really about having a romance with the idea of getting somewhere exotic and experiencing it right there in front of me.  I hate airports.  I deplore airplanes.  I don’t like learning a language.  But I LOVE a good story that I can share with anyone that will listen.  Over the years I’ve worn out my friends with my storytelling, but now it’s time to shut up and write.

It’s much different to tell a story orally than it is to type it into words.  I’m much better in person, so I have a bridge to cross to be myself as if I was in person with you so these words entertain and inform you rather that make you struggle to make sense of them.  This is where I’m starting so let me begin by saying…

I have a passion for travel and adventure.  Since adventure implies “risk”, let me clear one up one thing.  I am not the risk taker I used to be, so you can safely assume that I’m a Boomer and anything outside my fron door is an “adventure”.

I hope you’ll visit often as I take you along on some of my adventures… whether they are big or small or just information about where you can get great deals and more information.

I’m warming up my “writing” wings that haven’t been in flight for 20 years.  It’s sure to be a bumpy ride, but like Johnathan Livingston seagull says… “You have the freedom to be yourself, your true self, here and now, and nothing can stand in your way”.
